Love my St. Louis families!!

Another amazing session in Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort with this crew visiting from St. Louis—perfect weather, perfect light, and one of those sunsets that just shows off everything I love about what I do. My style of sunset portraits is something a little different than what you typically see around here… it’s not just about snapping photos on the beach, it’s about creating something intentional, dramatic, and truly one-of-a-kind for your family.

Thanksgiving this year at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort was magical. The weather and skies were impressive to say the least and made for incredible backgrounds as families created lasting memories.

Four years ago The Butchers hired me to do their family photo when I was still "retired" from any work here. They've since added a son-in-law and Campbell has become my trusted hair stylist, and I think I've won a tennis match with each one of them as my partner!

Needless to say, they are one of my favorite families that I know. (And for most people that know them too, I'm sure.)

October has been a magical month for sunsets and photoshoots. Texas came to town and kept the vibe going for an incredible sunset session. Next year we will get to add one more this family portrait!

If you don't know Alan and Sarah and you've been to The Village of Baytowne Wharf then you know their work. Alan is the executive director and is responsible for all the great events as well as the day to day management of the village. Sarah moved here full time after their recent engagement and is a daily fixture here as they keep Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort on the map as the best resort in the panhandle!
