21 years ago, Hurricane Katrina left a lasting impact on the Gulf Coast, including USS ALABAMA Battleship Memorial Park. This powerful storm brought strong winds, flooding, and damage to the beautiful grounds we know and love.

In the years since, our park staff, volunteers, and community have made valiant efforts to restore, rebuild, and preserve this special place.

We are thankful for the amount of support we receive annually from our visitors to be able to continue impacting future generations through our nation's history.
