Memorial Day is a federal holiday observed the last Monday of May in the United States for honoring and mourning the military personnel who have died in the performance of their military duties. A partial quote by James Garfield on 5/30/1868. “For love of country they accepted death, and thus resolved all doubts, and made immortal their patriotism and their virtue.”
Let us not forget and disregard the importance or purpose of this holiday. Make our/your Memorial Day observance meaningful and remember those who are no longer with us. We should all be mindful of showing our gratitude for those who have died while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.
