The Be Anything Museum is deeply honored to stand alongside more than 100 nonprofit organizations from throughout California recognized as the 2026 Nonprofit Organizations of the Year during the special luncheon celebration held at the State Capitol in Sacramento on May 20, 2026.
Nonprofit organizations have long been the heartbeat of our communities — filling gaps where help is needed most, uplifting families, educating youth, preserving culture, advocating for equity, and creating opportunities for future generations. Behind every nonprofit mission are countless volunteer hours, late nights, personal sacrifices, and unwavering dedication from founders, leaders, and volunteers who serve not for recognition, but for impact. Their commitment is honorable, inspiring, and truly worthy of this annual recognition by CalNonprofits.

The Be Anything Museum is proud to be part of this incredible nonprofit community. We are more than a Barbie museum — we are a Business Resource Center committed to empowering youth, women, and aspiring entrepreneurs through Youth Career Exploration programs, Business Start-Up Workshops for Young Entrepreneurs and Women, and Business Women’s Fellowship Classes.
Through the lens of history, culture, art, and storytelling, the museum highlights the evolution of youth and women’s empowerment across generations while inspiring visitors to dream boldly, lead confidently, and believe they truly can “Be Anything.”
