Join us for an Art Presenter Orientation on Thursday, September 17 at 5:00 p.m. at the Warren County Library.

Every child deserves the chance to create, imagine, and discover. Art builds confidence, sparks creativity, and helps students see the world in new ways. You can help make that happen!

The Buchanan Center for the Arts is looking for volunteers for its Art Presenter Program. Just once a month, from October through May, you'll visit a local classroom to introduce students to an inspiring work of art, share the story of the artist, and lead a fun, hands-on art project.

No art experience? No problem! The Buchanan Center provides everything you need—the artwork, lesson plans, project ideas, and all the supplies. All you need is a smile, a little enthusiasm, and a passion for making a difference.

Help bring creativity into our classrooms and inspire the next generation of artists, thinkers, and problem-solvers. Call the Buchanan Center for the Arts today at 309-734-3033. Share the joy of art. Volunteer today!

What a creative adventure students at the Edwards River Public Library were able to enjoy! They used their imaginations to create shoe houses their mice can live in, based on the story, "The Mouse Who Lived in a Shoe."

We look forward to teaching this again in the near future. If you missed this session, be sure to come to the Henderson County Library September 8 from 10-12pm for story time and art making with Christel Thompson! This class is meant for participants birth to 5 years old. See you there!
