This week, the Museum is thrilled to present a brand new exhibition and special collection highlight!
๐๐ฆ๐ธ ๐๐ค๐ฒ๐ถ๐ช๐ด๐ช๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ: ๐๐ณ๐ต๐ฉ๐ถ๐ณ ๐๐ข๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ธ๐ด' ๐๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐๐ข๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ณ๐ด features one of MMA's newest acquisitions: ๐๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐๐ข๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ณ๐ด (๐ข.๐ฌ.๐ข. ๐๐ถ๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ด ๐ช๐ฏ ๐๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ๐ด๐ค๐ข๐ฑ๐ฆ) and highlights the artistic legacy of Arthur Mathews. Featured in tandem with work by Mathews' wife and creative partner, Lucia, this exhibition delves into two leading figures in the California Arts and Crafts Movement and sheds light on two of the most influential painters, art educators, and advocates of early California art.
