We hope you and your family had a wonderful Independence Day weekend!
This painting by Deaf artist Chuck Baird depicts the sign for "America" with red, white, and blue interlocking fingers painted as the stars and stripes. The sign's interlocking fingers show unity built upon differences in our backgrounds and histories. The movement of this sign in a horizontal circle is the same movement that is used for the sign "together". Working together, our differences can be our strength.
