Artful Life Clay See what's new and happening at ARTFUL LIFE CLAY Doni Langlois is the owner and artist of Artful Life Clay.

She is inspired by our journeys as human beings and the poetry, song, prose, and imagery that attempt to do them justice. Her current work displays heart symbols and stories the heart might tell. She creates both gift sized, smaller hearts that rattle when shaken and depict words and other symbolic inspirations as well as larger sculptural pieces that hold deeper emotions, thoughts, or questions.

She also creates functional, whimsical bottles that might be used as vases, olive oil bottles, or cruets. All of these pieces have a “personality“to them with their gestural shapes and sizes. Her work incorporates her skill as a faux finisher where layers of glazes, slips, and texture combine to create wear or the look of the natural consequences of time. Doni’s affinity for the earth and its elemental components provide a foundation for all of her work

I wrote a book! It’s called When Machines Prefer Waterfall and it’s now available on Amazon.
I know — the title probably means nothing to most of you, and that’s completely fine. It’s a book about how AI is changing the way software gets built, and why the methods teams have relied on for twenty years might need to evolve. It’s definitely not for everyone, but if you’re curious about AI and how it’s reshaping the tech industry, you might find it an interesting read.
Here’s the fun part — I actually used AI to help write it, using the same approach the book teaches. So the book is kind of its own proof of concept.
The Kindle version is free on Amazon right now for a limited time, so if you’re even a little curious, grab a copy. You’ve got nothing to lose but a few evenings.
