I know we Boomers wish we had the forsight to have asked our parents about their WWII experiences while we still had them to talk to. My mother served as a nurse in France with a hospital unit during the Battle of the Bulge. My father-in-law served with the Ninth Infantry also in France and during the Battle of the Bulge. YouTube has some interesting film from that era. How wonderful it would have been to watch this film wth our parents and learn; first hand, about this amazing history. I’m sad that this opportunity has forever passed for me.
