Wayne County Kentucky Children's Museum We encourage you to plan your tour of the Children's Museum by calling the museum at 606-340-2300 There is a "dress up room" with dozens of costumes and hats.

The Monticello Kiwanis Club has partnered with the Wayne County Museum to develop a CHILDREN'S MUSEUM. Thanks to a few devoted volunteers that goal is becoming a reality. The KIWANIS CHILDREN'S MUSEUM IS AN INTEACTIVE MUSEUM where children are encouraged to "touch and handle" everything! Young people of all ages can perform a puppet show and practice their woodworking skills by constructing a wood

en bench or building a toy boat. They can access a computer to write their own stories or play with blocks, puzzles, and games of all kinds. Young people who love nature can learn about bats and bees, rocks and trees, dinosaur fossils, and bones. If art is your interest; we have a painting room.

Glad for a newly created book soon to be available for donation to museum funds. Glad for work & donations of the Monticello Women’s Club. Come by soon if you can. Open Tuesday through Friday 9:30 to 4:30. Volunteers welcome.
