๐Ÿ“ Donโ€™t forget! Our Strawberry Show and Tell is tomorrow at 4:00 PM!

Bring along an item with a story to shareโ€”whether itโ€™s an heirloom, collectible, keepsake, or interesting artifact. Everyone will have a chance to tell the story behind their item in this old-fashioned show-and-tell.

Stay and enjoy fellowship, conversation, and delicious strawberry shortcake. We hope to see you at the General John Burrows Historical Society!

Did you find your Show & Tell item yet? If not, thereโ€™s still time!

Join us on Sunday, June 14 at 4:00 PM for our Strawberry Shortcake Show & Tell. Bring along a special item and share its story with the groupโ€”just like the old-fashioned Show & Tell days many of us remember.

Whether itโ€™s a family heirloom, a treasured keepsake, or an interesting piece of local history, weโ€™d love to hear about it.

After the program, stay and enjoy good conversation, fellowship, and one of the seasonโ€™s sweetest treatsโ€”fresh strawberry shortcake!

We hope youโ€™ll join us for an afternoon of stories, memories, and community.

What a wonderful afternoon at the Characters and Authors program held last Sunday! Nearly 70 people joined us at Bethany Lutheran Church for this very well attended event. We sincerely thank Bethany Lutheran Church for hosting and everyone who came out to support the program.

A special thank you goes to Don King, who spent about an hour sharing stories about the interesting and notable people from Montoursville. His storytelling brought local history to life and made for an engaging and memorable presentation.

We are also pleased to share that we have an audio recording and transcript of the program that we will share at a future time. We will also have a limited amount of Donโ€™s booklets about Montoursville for sale at the museum during open house hours.

Thank you again to everyone who helped make this event such a success!
