𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂, 𝘄𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝗦𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀! 🌼

The voting round is underway and you have until June 15 at 5:00 p.m. to cast your vote! We're thrilled that we made it to the finals and are thankful for those who showed us their support.

While these awards might not seem that important, they really do pave the way for our small business to catch the eye of those who might otherwise might not know about us.

We represent more than 130 Vermont-based artist businesses and are honored to be able to share the work of your friends and neighbors.

𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱 is coming up on May 23 & 24!

The event is a celebration of the visual arts and creative process, offering a unique opportunity for visitors to meet a variety of artists and craftspeople in their studios.

We have a display in the gallery featuring all of our participating exhibitors, so you can get a preview before you start exploring.

We are thrilled to have learned that 𝘄𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗦𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘆! 🌼🌼🌼

There are not enough words in the English language to thank those who nominated us. It really is an honor to be able to share the creative talent of Vermont's artisans and we love the work that we do.

Need a hug? 𝘞𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘢 𝘣𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘩 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮!

We just received a fresh batch of stuffies from Montpelier fiber artist 𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗹𝗮 𝗦𝗺𝘆𝗿𝘀𝗸𝗶 and 𝘰𝘩.𝘮𝘺.𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴.

If you can resist either booping that pig's nose or holding a frog so tight that its eyes pop, then you definitely have more self-control than we do.

By the way, those owl eyes just stare into your soul.

It's been a long week, so stop by the gallery and get a hug for yourself!

We're in the final days of hosting our April exhibit of work produced by 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗽𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗲! It's been a joy to have their work in the gallery and to share the creativity and skill that's coming from a younger generation of local artisans.

Montpelier Made is a student-run company based at Montpelier High School. Participants design, market, and sell their own handcrafted, high-quality wood products including Adirondack chairs, cutting boards, planters, and benches. The business uses locally-sourced and recycled materials whenever possible and a portion of their profits is donated to local central Vermont charities.

The last day of the exhibit is April 30th, so 𝘣𝘦 𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘱 𝘣𝘺 𝘴𝘰𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘴𝘢𝘯𝘴!

Welcome to today's Staff Pick! Staff member Wendy chose a sculptural ceramic garden stake created by 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗮 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘂.

When asked what she liked most about the piece, she quickly replied "the chicken!" with a big smile on her face. She added that it's very springy and perfect for this time of year.

Wendy finished by saying that "this pair would be happy to be in anyone's potted plant." 🪴

On April 29 from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m., Eliza West of Eliza West Makes and Elena Gustavson of Magpie & Tiger are hosting 𝙇𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝘼𝙧𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙇𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙝𝙤𝙥𝙨. This free event will bring together artists and business owners to discuss what is often a mutual goal - 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘥𝘰 𝘸𝘦 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘭𝘰𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘭𝘰𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘴?

The evening will start with a short panel featuring two local artists (Hilary Glass of Hilaryannlove Studio and Kelly MacMahon of May Day Studio and two local business owners (Elissa Campbell/Blue Roof Designs and Artisans Hand Craft Gallery and Jennifer Hubbard of Moss Home Goods VT) talking honestly about what they need, what works, and what gets in the way. This will be followed by mingling and snacking.
