Montrose Center for Arts Presents “Mama Mia! Murder in the Meatballs”
Annual Fundraiser and Dinner Theatre
Join the Montrose Center for Arts for Mama Mia! Murder in the Meatballs, the Murder Mystery Dinner Theater Annual Fundraiser to support the arts. The event will take place on Saturday, October 17, starting at 5 p.m., at the Elks Lodge located at 801 S. Hillcrest Drive in Montrose. The exciting evening will feature an original Murder Mystery Performance by the Magic Circle Players, a delicious lasagna dinner, including Caesar salad, Italian blend vegetables, breadsticks, and cheesecake. The major fundraiser for the year will include a live auction with exceptional items up for bid. Plus, “mobs” of fun and camaraderie.
Priced at $85 each, tickets must be purchased in advance; they will not be sold at the door. The event is traditionally a "sell out." Tickets can be purchased in person at Montrose Center for Arts, 205 E. Main Street, Montrose. If you purchase tickets online or through the QR code, tickets will be available for pick up at Montrose Center for Arts after October 1, 2026, OR at Will Call at the event on October 17.

"Your support of the arts is so vital to continue to create a space to promote excellence in art forms in the City of Montrose, created by Western Slope Artists,” says Debbie Daniel, the fundraiser coordinator. “Your contributions and participation in MCA events enable us to open the Gallery five days a week, to sponsor free monthly art receptions, to offer varied classes to the public and to foster a space for our community to share and appreciate the arts. Our activities offer something to everyone, regardless of age. Please continue in making our vision of connecting art and the community a reality.”
Special thanks to our sponsors who helped to make this event possible: the David Mize Family Foundation, DMEA/Elevate, and Timberline Bank.
