Larger that life portraits (36"x48") original oil painting on canvas by A.T. Archuleta...these portraits are definitely larger than life and definitely capture your guests attention. Some of you may remember Nakota when he performed a few times at Secret Window in Monument. Sadly, those days are gone since more and more people are forgetting to support the arts. There is still time to change the course. Go out and support artists with purchases, or at the very least thank them for doing what they do! Just a thought...Share the Secret!

While at the Santa Fe Indian Market, I stopped by to visit with Vic Payne (sculptor) and his son Dustin both talented artists. Both were working on their own monumental piece. Vic is known for his monumental sculptures you see at the Cabela stores. You can see his latest work in progress in the background. The Indian Market came to a close today and it was great knowing that some of our friends had a great market with some selling out! The art market is returning in a big way. More to come. One of our stops tonight in Santa Fe was at the Blue Rain Gallery where we shared a little time with Artist Tony Abeyta. His work is something to be shared. When we left he had sold close to 75K in art work. It was a good night for Tony.

Rhoda and I (Anthony) had the opportunity this evening to attend SWAIA's Artist Awards Sneak Preview which gives SWAIA members the early opportunity to see the best of Indian Market art. We saw works by the Steve and Marian LaRance, Preston and Debra Duwyenie who received awards. These artists were just a few who have shown their talents during Secret Window's Indian Market. A great night for the Arts.

I (Anthony) am here in Santa Fe with my lovely bride (Rhoda) and son (Landon the opera singer) enjoying the art and culture. The Indian Market starts bright and early tomorrow morning so the plaza streets will be packed big time tomorrow. Taking this pre-market time to visit various galleries before the market and wanted share a little about the Brennen gallery near the plaza across from the well known Manitou Gallery. This is considered one of the newer galleries with some amazing photo-realism paintings. Works by Yaunshou Liu can be seen here along with many other talented painters, but remember to bring a wallet well stocked... Share the Secret!
