Here she was before and now that I'm done with her. Donation by a parishioner to the church silent auction (Briarfest) happening in a month or so. I'm painting 3 antiques donated by this family for the auction. This year there will be online bidding. Be the highest bidder and you could bring her home to your house.

So excited to be working on this wonderful antique and finally cerusing !! Trying a new technique, didn’t want to lose the beautiful grain but still update it. Drawers are stripped and stained weathered grey. Another step or two to go, stay tuned....

It’s been a rough couple of months for our family and I really haven’t painted in since my Mom passed in March.
I am ready to get back to it on this piece. Hopefully I’ll do it justice. It is part of a set that came from my client’s Grandmother and they’ve been using it for over 30 years.
