This exhibition celebrates the evolving art of Mithila painting where centuries-old folk traditions meet contemporary imagination. Artists are encouraged to create works inspired by poetry, storytelling, folklore, mythology, and visual narratives.
Artists working in traditional or contemporary Mithila art are welcome to apply.

MithilaVerse celebrates the evolving art of Mithila (Madhubani) painting, where centuries-old folk traditions meet contemporary imagination.
This exhibition welcomes emerging and established artists working in traditional or contemporary Mithila art. Artists are encouraged to create works inspired by poetry, storytelling, folklore, mythology, and visual narratives—transforming rhythm, metaphor, and narrative into vibrant lines, colors, and symbolic imagery.
Rooted in the cultural traditions of India and Nepal, Mithila painting continues to evolve globally while preserving its rich storytelling heritage.
