Morton Grove Historical Society & Museum The Morton Grove Historical Society page wants to share photos, stories and events with everyone interested in the village's long and diverse history.

Group tours are welcome but available by appointment only. The Morton Grove Historical Society was formed on September 10, 1970 and through the Museum Council, works with the Morton Grove Park District to operate the Haupt-Yehl Museum & Grounds, Slater Educational Annex and are stewards of "The Doughboy" WWI Monument.

It's with profound sadness that we announce Donna Hedrick passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2026. She was a long-time member of the MGHS who served as a volunteer, board member, Treasurer, Vice-President and President over the years. Below is a picture of her. She will be dearly missed.
