Moses Lake Museum & Art Center Moses Lake Museum & Art Center is a not-for-profit organization supported by the City of Moses Lake History + Art. Admission is free.

The Moses Lake Museum & Art Center, Moses Lake's cultural nucleus, located in the Moses Lake Civic Center. The museum is home to local historical exhibits, a fine art gallery, museum store and a giant Columbian Mammoth metal sculpture. Program schedule is available under Events, the calendar online at www.cityofml.com or at the museum front counter. New gallery shows open every 6-8 weeks as schedu

led. Free Family Saturdays are the first Saturday of every month. Programs run from 12noon - 2pm, or as scheduled and until supplies are exhausted. The museum is closed most major holidays.

Looking for something fun, educational, and enriching to do on this surprise day off of school? Come see us! We are open until 5 p.m.

We have exhibits exploring our natural and human history, a kids play area, a giant chess board, an exhibit exploring themes from the Declaration of Independence, as well as other Moses Lake history.

Happy Throwback Thursday history lovers! Here is an envelope commemorating the opening of the Grant County Airport on October 8, 1966. It was mailed to Mrs. Arthur R. Boye of Ephrata by Larry D. Peterson of Moses Lake. Larry Peterson was a Port of Moses Lake Commissioner in 1998. Enjoy!
