WEAVING (2-Part Class)
Sunday, September 10 & Sunday, September 17
2pm—4pm
In this two week ongoing class the student will learn the basics of weaving to create a unique wall hanging using a variety of stitches and yarn for texture. Ages 12 and up.

BATIK WORKSHOP
Thursday, September 14
1pm—4pm
OR
Sunday, September 24
2pm-5pm
Experience the excitement of creating an original 14x18” Batik painting on fabric using a special technique of this ancient process. No painting experience is necessary. All materials provided!

PRINTMAKING (2-Part Class)
Friday, September 8 & Friday, September 15
1pm—3pm
In this class, you will learn how to create and carve your own design in a linoleum block to be used for printing your own art. This exciting medium enables you to make multiple copies of your own design (for note cards, Christmas cards, or designer prints). Ages 14 and up.

Offering two more batik painting classes… one this Thursday 10/13 from 4:30-7:30 and also another on the following Thursday from 4:30-7:30. Class is open to ages 12- adult. Cost is $40 day of class but $35?if you register ahead and pay in advance. Call me at 704-301-8389 to register and can pay at Sew Happy prior to class. Check out some examples online. This is a popular class and no painting experience is necessary.

Another BATIK painting class is being offered on Thursday Sept 29 at 4:30-7:30 and for those who work I am flexible and can make it 5-8 for you. The class is already half full and I must limit the size so sign up early. This is a very popular class. No painting experience is necessary and all materials are furnished.
Ages 12-adult and fee is $35 if signed up and paid in advance but will be $40 day of class. You can register by calling me at 704-301-8389 or paying Kelly at Sew Happy.

We had a good turnout last night at our artists reception!!! Lots of interest in the various art techniques in the exhibit. Special thanks to Jamie Kellis as she demonstrated printmaking and got lots of kids involved in the process !!!!
