The golden age of space travel is upon us, the first space hotel is set to open in 2027!

But increased space accessibility begs the question, how should we manage the resources of the moon and space?

Museum Studies students will be exploring this topic Thursday, April 8 from 6:30 PM- 9:30 PM!

“The director of the Science and Engineering Residential College told me about volunteering opportunities at the museum and I thought it would be really cool to volunteer without leaving campus! I like to be helpful in any capacity and with all the jobs and tasks you can do at the museum online and off, it’s been a fun experience!”

-Makenna Kater, CMU museum volunteer

We have some amazing new volunteers helping out the museum this semester! Makenna is one volunteer who is able to help in person, but we have a lot of online opportunities as well. Thanks Makenna for your help!

Today is Caity Burnell's last day as the CMU Museum Educator!

There is no doubt Caity has left an indelible mark at the CMU Museum. As our Educator she has worked hard to provide a positive learning experience for hundreds of school children. Her dedication inside and outside the classroom has helped prepare museum students for careers in museum education, collections, and more!

We'll miss you Caity! We wish you well. Good luck on all your future endeavors!
