The Kentucky Division of Forestry and the Montgomery County Judge Executive invite you to attend the Dedication of Our Liberty Tree in Honor of the Patriots Who Served During
The Revolutionary War.

The Ceremony Will Be Held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 10 A.M.
at Botts Park, 5650 Indian Mound Drive, Mount Sterling, Kentucky.

Instead, the program will feature a crowd favorite....."Members Show & Tell". Please feel free to bring items you might have that involve our shared local history. Hope to see you tomorrow evening!

Join us on Monday, April 27th, at 7:00 PM at the Episcopal Church of the Ascension in Mt. Sterling. This month's speaker is Dan Manley. He will be speaking about Walter Johnson, a former Mt. Sterling High School and U of KY basketball player and WWII veteran who served aboard the USS Indianapolis.

On this day in 1793, Ralph Morgan's Station was attacked by a band of Shawnee & Cherokee. Of the 32 settlers at the station, 14 died either at the station or on the trail.
