Muncie's Gateway to the World of Art
Our newest galleries exhibit more than 500 works of art from China, Japan, India, Africa, and the Pacific Islands, as well as from Native American, Mesoamerican, and South American cultures. Together with the existing galleries of European and American art, they represent major world civilizations on six continents. Admission to the David Owsley Museum of Art
is free and open to the public year-round. Saturday, 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. DOMA is located in the heart of Ball State University's Old Quad. Housed in the Fine Arts Building, the collection has grown since 1935, and in 2011 was renamed after the grandson of Frank C. Ball and the museum's largest benefactor, David T. Owsley. For more information, call the museum at 765-285-5242 or email [email protected].
