Come work at DOMA! Applications are now open for internships at the museum. Apply on Workday through June 30.

Internships in collection management, curatorial research and planning, museum education, social media/marketing, video/media production, and exhibition design and installation are often offered depending upon museum needs and projects for the semester. Successful applicants may come from any major or discipline, but a strong interest in art is preferred. Hired interns will attend a museum orientation at the beginning of the semester.

Ball State students interested in an internship at DOMA will need to submit a cover letter, resume, and transcript. Apply first through the Workday Jobs Hub; find the "Museum of Art Intern" posting under Student Employment Positions and follow the additional instructions section for a link to fill out a required questionnaire and to upload materials. Applicants chosen for an interview will be notified via their Ball State email address, and interviews can be done virtually.

This opportunity is open to Ball State students enrolled in Fall 2026 classes. Contact Rachel Buckmaster at [email protected] with questions.

How wonderful is this?! An Art in Bloom rookie has won DOMA's People's Choice Award for Art in Bloom 2026! Ralana Abraham-Miller (from Foister's Flowers & Gifts ) wowed our visitors with her take on "Autumn" by Francois Boucher. Her arrangement included florals such as peonies, ranunculus, English ivy, moss, and grevillea to depict her vision of the playful scene in the painting. A personal touch was the inclusion of branches, a common signature element for Ralana to signify life in her design. The shapes, colors, and textures conveyed the spirit and symbolism of the original artwork yet displayed a confident and bold design all her own. Congrats, Ralana, and thank you for participating in Art in Bloom and bringing your beautiful work to DOMA!

More happy news: it was virtually a five-way tie for second place! ALL of our designers knocked it out of the park this year and the feedback from our community reflects that. Thank you! We are cleaning up and catching our breath after the fantastic weekend, and will share many more images later this week. 🥰💐🌸🌿
