Opening May 16 at Minnetrista Museum & Gardens, Wallace & Gromit™: Get Cracking! invites children and families to explore hands-on STEAM learning through playful challenges, puzzles, and interactive experiences inspired by the beloved animated duo. 🐶⚙️

🎨 Just over a month away—the Muncie Artists Guild Annual Show returns to Minnetrista.

Opening June 20, this juried exhibition showcases a wide range of work from regional artists, featuring everything from painting to mixed media. It’s a celebration of creativity across East Central Indiana and a chance to experience the depth of local talent.

Join us every Saturday from May through October from 9 a.m.–noon to shop fresh produce, baked goods, flowers, handmade items, local meats, honey, artisan goods, and more from vendors across East Central Indiana. 🌻

This season also introduces our new Veggie Voucher program for kids, select on-site blood drives with Versiti Blood Center of Indiana, and even more opportunities to connect with your community.

🌸🌿 Spend your Friday and Saturday surrounded by plants, local vendors, live music, and community at Minnetrista.

This weekend, explore everything Garden Fair has to offer—including plants, landscaping tools, crafts, live music, food trucks, kid-friendly activities, floral painting demonstrations inspired by the Bob Ross technique, and fused glass workshops in the Cantina.

🌿🥕 The Farmers Market at Minnetrista will also continue during Garden Fair, bringing an extended outdoor market experience filled with seasonal produce, artisan baked goods, plants, farm-fresh eggs, meats, handcrafted items, and more.

There will be plenty to explore across campus all day long. ✨

✨🧚 Minnetrista is seeking performers for this summer’s Faeries, Sprites, & Lights experience.

Join us for auditions on May 18 or May 19 and help bring an enchanting evening of storytelling, imagination, and immersive theatre to life in Oakhurst Gardens.

We are casting eight paid roles, including improvisational and scripted performances. No monologue or résumé is required—just bring yourself, water, and a willingness to play, create, and connect with guests.

✨ Auditions: May 18 or May 19; 5–8 p.m.
📍 Education Center
🎭 Ages 18+

Performance dates are July 30–August 1, with rehearsals beginning in late June or early July.

Join us for Tea & Talk with Dr. Lara Kuykendall, Director of the Ball State School of Art, as she shares insights on the life and legacy of Indiana artist Constance Coleman Richardson. Drawing from "The Unforgettables" by Charles C. Eldredge, this engaging program highlights overlooked artists and the importance of rediscovering their contributions.

Guests will enjoy tea and light refreshments in a welcoming setting designed for learning and discussion.
