The Cole Art Center would like to invite you to the Texas National 2026 opening reception this Friday, April 17, from 5-7pm! This year’s juror, Cindi Strauss, the Sara and Bill Morgan Curator of Decorative Arts, Craft, and Design and Assistant Director, Programming at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
Cindi Strauss will be presenting a talk tomorrow, Thursday, April 16, at 11:30am in Room 114 of the Griffith Fine Arts building.
Both events are completely free and open to the public, and we would love to see you there!

Join us tomorrow, Friday, April 10 for the Congressional Art Competition reception, where we will celebrate these talented high school artists! Congressman Pete Sessions will speak and announce the winners of the competition at the reception, and if you want to see the work ahead of time, the show is currently on view in the Teresa Jill Adams Gallery located in the Griffith Fine Arts Building at SFASU.

The talk is completely free, and Heather will have a limited number of riso printed postcards as a giveaway! Heather will also have copies of some of her zines as well a limited number of archival fine art prints from her collection available to purchase after the artist talk!
