BluEye Art Gallery is a contemporary art gallery in Downtown Nampa, Idaho. It was founded in 2019, bringing together local artists to strengthen the presence of contemporary art in historic Downtown Nampa.
BluEye Art Gallery is located at 1230 1st Street South, the the Blue Eye Building, which was built in 1907. It burned down, along with the whole block, in the Great Nampa Fire of 1909. It was re-built in 1911, and fully renovated by owner Randy Jamison in 2015. The gallery is 750 square feet in size, with many original materials and features from years past.
BluEye Art Gallery supports the local arts community and promotes a vibrant atmosphere in downtown Nampa through exhibits, events, and special programs. The gallery is committed to making arts accessible to our community by providing an inclusive and welcoming space. BluEye Art Gallery is an all-inclusive, non-discriminatory organization. Varying perspectives and interpretations in the Arts are welcome and necessary. We are committed to maintaining a family-friendly environment that welcomes and respects everyone.
BluEye Art Gallery will exhibit the work of contemporary artists, and is dedicated to providing the public with opportunities to learn about artists and visual arts. Through traditional and non-traditional exhibitions, the gallery hopes to expose our community to the importance of art and creativity in everyone’s daily life. Professional artists will be invited to exhibit for solo or group exhibitions. Alternative activities such as digital presentations, a demonstration of their process, or a workshop will be encouraged.
