These are the bones that were dug up by Dr. Donald Johanson and presented as 'Lucy' in 1975 along with Dr. Tim White and others. The initial claims of this specimen walking upright, as a precursor to humans, was firmly denounced by several anatomical scientists and paleontologists contemporary to Dr. Johanson. Over the next seven years, Dr. Johanson vacillated from making claims of pre-human species to it being just a species of Chimpanzee. Finally, in 1982, Dr. Johanson declared that 'Lucy' was just a species of ape. It walked like a Chimpanzee does today, with no difference to ape like gait. The false claim continues on with a fictionalized human like, hairy, upright walking, slightly human like face, and in some instances, with lipstick on, in textbooks and museum displays. These pictures are artists renditions and have nothing to do with reality, science or fact.

CANDLES TURNED TO STONE

In the Minnesota Museum of Mining there is a small bundle of miner’s candles on display that are completely turned into stone. They were found in an underground mine when the old mine drifts and shafts were later enlarged into an open pit mine. The miners of years ago used candlelight to see in the dark, and the candles were left behind when the mine shut down around the time of the Second World War. Mineralized water infused the wax candles in the flooded mine, resulting in rock gradually replacing the wax. All it took was the right chemical conditions and a few decades at most to transform the candles into hard rock.

Just like these petrified candles, fossils do not need millions of years to form, despite what evolutionists claim.

None of them resulted from a process that needed eons of time. Indeed, eons of time would result in destruction or scavenging of the dead things, so they must have been fossilized quickly. With the right chemical conditions (and the Flood would have provided vast amounts of mineral solutions from all that ground-up rock and water) a few decades at most is all that is needed to achieve a complete transformation from soft organic tissue to hard rock.

The sediments in which the fossils are found also didn’t need eons of time to become hard rock. For example, concrete is a simple example of how the right mix of pulverized rock hardens quickly, and experiments show that certain bacteria can cement sand into hard rock. All of this makes sense in the light of the true, biblical age of the earth of around 6,000 years.

Set your alarms early TOMORROW morning, March 3! ⏰🌕

A total lunar eclipse aka a “Blood Moon” is happening early Tuesday morning, March 3 and it’s a good one.

For most of us across the U.S., the lunar show starts before sunrise with peak totality around the middle of the hour depending on your time zone. During peak, the Moon turns that deep copper red as Earth’s shadow completely covers it.

No telescope needed. Just step outside, look up, and give your eyes a minute to adjust. Clouds permitting, this one will be hard to miss! Drop me your pictures if you catch it!

A DINOSAUR HEART PRESERVED BY THE FLOOD

One of the most astonishing dinosaur fossils ever studied is the Thescelosaurus specimen housed at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences. This fossil does not merely preserve bone. It preserves what researchers have identified as a heart. A delicate internal organ preserved in three dimensional form within the chest cavity. That alone places this fossil in a category that evolutionary timelines struggle to explain.

A heart is among the first organs to decay after death. It collapses quickly, breaks down rapidly, and is destroyed by bacteria, oxygen, and scavengers. Under normal conditions it has no realistic chance of surviving long enough to fossilize. Slow burial does not preserve hearts. Exposure destroys them. Time erases them. The only known mechanism capable of preserving such an organ is rapid burial under water and sediment that cuts off oxygen and halts decay almost immediately.

That is exactly the kind of environment a large scale flood produces. Fast moving water carries enormous volumes of fine sediment. Organisms are buried suddenly and deeply. Internal structures are locked in place before decomposition can occur. This is how soft tissues can survive long enough for mineralization to take place. Without catastrophic conditions, a heart would never remain intact.

Attempts to dismiss this find as a simple mineral stain fail to address the core problem. Even mineral replacement requires the original structure to remain physically present long enough for minerals to replicate its form. A rotted heart leaves nothing to replace. Preservation demands speed. Speed demands catastrophe.

This fossil does not fit a story of slow accumulation over vast ages. It fits a story of sudden burial, overwhelming sediment, and rapid fossilization. The same conditions responsible for mass graveyards, articulated skeletons, and exquisitely preserved fossils around the world.

THE CRUMBLING PILLARS OF DEEP TIME

Modern science classrooms often parade dating methods as if they are unquestionable pillars of truth that support billions of years of deep time + evolution. Textbooks speak with certainty, claiming to pinpoint the age of rocks, fossils, ice layers, and wood with near mathematical precision. But behind the curtain sits a fragile foundation built on human assumptions, not observable science. When you examine the core of each method, the pattern becomes unmistakable. These systems do not rest on measurable history. They rest on guesses about the past. They rest on assumptions that cannot be proven. And every assumption stands in direct contradiction to the Word of God, the only reliable record of Earth’s true history.

Below is a simple look at the major secular dating methods and the basic problems that undermine their claims. Each one depends on unverifiable starting points, unstable conditions, or circular reasoning. When you strip away the confident tone and look at the mechanics, the weaknesses shout louder than the conclusions.

CARBON DATING:

Carbon dating only applies to once living material, yet it is often used as if it can settle the age of the whole world. The core problem is this. The method assumes carbon 14 levels have always been the same. That has never been observed. A global flood, cosmic radiation changes, and atmospheric shifts would radically alter carbon levels. It also begins with untestable starting conditions. You cannot know how much carbon 14 an organism had when it died. So the calculation begins with a guess, not a measurement.

RADIOMETRIC DATING:

This method is presented as the gold standard, but it is built on the same shaky foundation. Radiometric dating assumes the original parent to daughter isotope ratio. No one was there to measure it. It assumes the sample remained a closed system. Contamination is common in real world rock layers. It assumes decay rates were constant. Yet even secular research acknowledges that decay rates can vary under extreme conditions. When every major step of the method is an assumption, the final number cannot be trusted.

DENDROCHRONOLOGY (TREE RING DATING):

Tree ring dating sounds precise, but the method is far less stable than advertised. Tree rings do not always form one ring per year. Sometimes multiple rings form in the same year. Sometimes trees skip rings. Then scientists connect ring patterns from different trees based on visual similarity, which is interpretation, not measurement. The entire chronology is built by matching patterns that appear similar. It is not an unbroken historical record.

ICE CORE DATING:

Ice cores are claimed to represent hundreds of thousands of years, yet the method rests on another assumption. It assumes each visible band equals one year. Storms can create many layers in a single season. Wind patterns, melting, refreezing, and pressure changes distort layers. Secular scientists must interpret which lines represent single years and which do not. The deeper the core goes, the less clear the layers become. This is not reading history. It is reconstructing a story based on expectations.

INDEX FOSSILS:

Often ignored by the public, index fossils are used constantly in secular geology. Here is the problem. Fossils are dated by the rock layers they are found in, and rock layers are dated based on the fossils inside them. That is circular reasoning. The system reinforces itself with no independent verification. It is a closed loop built on its own assumptions.

When you put all of these methods side by side, the truth becomes impossible to ignore. Secular dating methods do not overthrow Scripture. They collapse under their own weight. They begin with untestable assumptions, introduce interpretive leaps, and produce conclusions that simply reflect the beliefs of the scientists using them. God’s Word gives the real timeline. History is anchored in truth, not human imagination. Science must follow the evidence, not fiction. And assumptions do not belong in science.

Ichnofossils

Did you know that all over the world, fossilized tracks from many different kinds of animals are found preserved in layers below their fossilized skeletons?

Fossilized footprints like these offer curious and compelling evidence that points to a global catastrophic event. The fact that these delicate trackways appear before any fossilized bones or shells of the same animal in the geologic record is puzzling from a conventional perspective, since footprints are fragile and easily destroyed. Yet their widespread preservation suggests rapid burial, consistent with the idea of a sudden, worldwide Flood as described in the book of Genesis. These prints appear to capture a moment of panic, animals on the move, fleeing something far larger than themselves.

A powerful example comes from the Coconino Sandstone in the Grand Canyon, long thought to be ancient desert dunes. However, experiments by Dr. Leonard Brand have shown that amphibians walking underwater against a current produced trackways identical to those found in this layer. Rather than walking up dry dunes, these creatures were likely submerged and struggling to move, matching what we would expect during the violent onset of a flood. In other locations, such as Death Valley, we see trilobite burrows followed by walking tracks and then mass shell graveyards, as if these animals were successively buried in stages. It paints a picture of panic, escape, and sudden entombment.

These fossil footprints are silent, yet they speak volumes. They tell the story of creatures suddenly overwhelmed by fast moving sediment and water, exactly what would happen during a global deluge. Instead of millions of years of slow sediment buildup, these trackways point to rapid processes, powerful forces, and watery judgment. Far from being random remnants of a distant past, they stand as a record of God’s power, His judgment, and His preservation. In the end, even footprints in stone testify that the Flood was real and that the history found in Genesis is not myth, but memory.

DINOSAUR FOOTPRINTS HIGH IN THE ITALIAN ALPS

In the news:

High in the Italian Alps, thousands of dinosaur footprints have been discovered etched into solid rock more than a mile above sea level. These are not scattered marks or vague impressions. They are clear, repeated tracks showing toes, stride patterns, and movement across what was once soft ground. Dinosaurs were walking here, turning, pacing, and traveling in groups. Today that same surface stands high above valleys and clouds, locked into stone on steep mountain faces. This alone tells us something profound happened to the earth after those footprints were made.

Secular explanations rush to stretch this evidence across hundreds of millions of years, claiming slow uplift and gradual processes raised these layers to their present height. But footprints require soft sediment laid down quickly and preserved rapidly before erosion destroys them. You do not get thousands of pristine tracks if the ground sits exposed for ages. The simplest explanation is rapid burial. Massive layers of sediment must have been deposited suddenly, covering and preserving these tracks before they could be erased. That is exactly what we would expect from a global Flood that reshaped the surface of the earth in a short span of time.

The Flood described in Genesis was not a gentle rise of water. It was a world altering catastrophe where fountains of the deep burst forth, sediments were churned and redeposited, and entire landscapes were buried and later uplifted. Dinosaur tracks preserved high in the Alps fit this picture perfectly. Dinosaurs were alive and walking before the Flood. Their footprints were pressed into soft sediment as waters rose. Those layers were rapidly buried, hardened, folded, and lifted as the continents and mountain ranges took shape. The mountains did not slowly grow around the tracks. The tracks were laid flat, buried fast, and later raised.

These footprints are silent witnesses to judgment and preservation. They testify that dinosaurs lived recently in earth history, alongside a world that was later destroyed by water. They expose the weakness of long age storytelling and point back to the biblical record as the only framework that makes sense of the evidence. The Alps do not contradict Scripture. They proclaim it. Creation still bears the scars of the Flood, written in stone for all who are willing to see.
