I am planning to auction the entire collection of 8x10 photographs of the contents of the Eli Klaman Bottle Shop. Some who see this post may have acquired a portion of the massive lot of antique bottles. I have met several who own or owned boxes filled with unopened local medicine bottles from the 1800s and 1900s. The 17 photographs are in Black & White and were taken by a photographer before the estate was sold. This piece of history should not be kept in storage any longer.

The bottle was purchased a while ago at an antique shop and was fully covered in wicker as was the way to keep big demijohns from breaking. The owner took off the wrapped wicker. So the question I pose is, why the different shade?

Picked some sea glass yesterday along Portland's waterfront. Am I the only one that loves to walk the coastline and pick up colorful glass. Seems like a forgotten hobby?

Creating marble holders. Those special marbles should be featured I think. These are made from 100 to 200 year old bottles that were damaged but repurposed. I smooth all edges and add feet and pads.
