🤯 What an amazing day filled with the exchange of art, ideas, and critical matters the creative community is considering. As we discussed different approaches to how creatives engage with AI, it was clear from the day's presentations and our audiences' questions that their research and engagement with this new frontier will be key to shaping our future.

💻🧠 Thank you to our incredible organizers and facilitators and Chris Manzioni for bringing this dialogue to Narrowsburg.

🫶 Thank you to our incredible presenters

🙏 Special thanks to recording the days' conversations. We look forward to sharing it with you all soon!

Submissions for our 50th Anniversary group exhibition, One For All, are now open!

We invite artists to submit one work (no larger than 50cm x 50cm (20" x 20"). Additionally, if you are in possession of a work by an artist who is no longer living but part of DVAA’s exhibition history, we welcome the opportunity to include a piece of theirs.

Together we will transform the DVAA’s 1st floor gallery into a visual toast to our first 50 years. Installed salon style from floor to ceiling, the gallery will be an explosive celebration of our vibrant and diverse artistic community. The exhibition will be on view from June 13 – July 26, 2026.

Submitted works should be:
• Framed/ready hang artworks
• Made no earlier than 1976.
• Not larger than 20” x 20” x 20” (50cm x 50cm x 50cm)
• Dropped off beginning Thursday, May 28th through Sunday, June 7th, during Gallery Hours (Thursday – Sunday, 11am – 4pm) or by appointment.
• Separate arrangements must be made in advance.

Congratulations to our 2026 Arts For Sullivan and Sullivan County Arts and Heritage Grantees!

We're excited to see you all at today's award ceremony at at 4pm.

Since 1984, DVAA has worked with the New York State Committee of the Arts (NYSCA ) as the Statewide Community Regrants (SCR) site in Sullivan County, for the purpose of administering Arts for Sullivan funding to artists, art organizations, cultural and heritage groups. The Arts for Sullivan SCR Program is largely credited for establishing Sullivan County’s cultural life as we know it today - relevant, vibrant, and healthy. In accordance with its mandate from the State Legislature to encourage participation in the grants decision-making process at the county and regional level, NYSCA inaugurated the program in 1977 for the redistribution of public funds. This program enables selected local arts councils, county governments, or regional advisory boards to regrant state funds for arts events and cultural development in their communities.

Established by DVAA in 2000, the Sullivan County Arts & Heritage Grants (SCAHG) Program is made possible with support from the Sullivan County Legislature ( ), and provides funding to assist non-profit organizations to present or produce cultural programming in Sullivan County during 2026.

We are excited to announce our inaugural Pride Family Picnic event. Join us on Sunday, June 7th at the lawn behind the Narrowsburg Union.

LGBTQ+ community members and their allied family, friends, and neighbors (and well-behaved pets!) are invited to gather together to kick off Pride Month with a picnic (bring your own or buy some delicious eats from Grizzly Bagels), play lawn games, tie-dye (bring old shirts!), learn line dancing with Sarah East Johnson of Outta Line, and enjoy a fun, peaceful afternoon celebration.

This event is rain or shine!

Advance registration is requested - the link is in our bio.
