Meet the Artist: Terri Jordan

Through layered, atmospheric paintings, Terri Jordan explores memory, ancestry, identity, and the evolving experience of womanhood. Working primarily in oil on black-primed canvas, her figures emerge and dissolve into richly symbolic environments — blurring the line between personal history and collective memory. Deeply introspective yet universally felt, her work invites viewers to find reflections of their own stories within each composition.
