Week 4 of Brown County Youth Art League we dove into the art of printmaking. This week the league worked independtly creating a print based on a randomly selected subject area. We sketched out our designs before creating our relief stamps for printing. We focused on key design elements of positive and negative space and how the layers of multiple stamps create a sense of depth. Once again we thank and Peaceful Valley Heritage to help support this 100% free programming for our communities budding artists! We are thrilled to offer such engaging and educational programming! YOUTH ART LEAGUE - Week 1 is in the books despite a school closure and mini snow storm ❄️ These participants crushed this weeks challenge, creating collage designs based on one of two abstract prompts: Opposites Atrract or Dream Landscape. This is our weekly 100% Free (!!!) student youth program thank you to 🙏🏼🙌🏻 more to come from these artists, as this weeks challenge will fit into a much larger project- more to come 👀Which design is your favorite!?
