I loved my years with North MS Vista Project through AmeriCorps! Thank you Jill Smith for introducing me to the Grisham-McLean Institute for Public Service and Community Engagement! Thankful for the transition to a City of New Albany, MS employee at Union County Heritage Museum now for almost another year.

On July 11th, the Grisham-McLean Institute celebrated the dedication of the North MS VISTA Project members for their year of service. The event recognized six current and former VISTA members who earned the Presidential Volunteer Service Lifetime Award, which honors individuals for completing over 4,000 hours of community or national service. Additionally, exiting and returning members were presented with certificates in celebrating their commitment to service. We are incredibly grateful for the countless hours our VISTA members have devoted to serving their communities.

Hello Tallahatchie Arts Council Facebook Followers! We appreciate you very much. It looks like we have been told that soon our page will be deleted. Not sure what to do about it any further than what we have already done. We will try to keep you informed but there may not be anything we can do about it. We will try to start a new page. Go through the photos and save them to your phone or your page too if you wish to keep the memories. We will try to save as much as we possibly can. Thanks ~Steve
