My husband and I went to a restaurant in Ligonier (I would rather not share the name. I am not trying to make any trouble for them.) today for a late lunch/early dinner. Everytime we go to this restaurant I smell a foul odor when we walk in. No one seems to notice it but me. My husband says he doesn't smell anything and there are people happily eating right there, so I assume they don't smell it either. Today however the odor was much fainter then other times.
This doesn't negate the fact that including today, I have been sick the last three times I have eaten there. Let me say that I can feel it coming on before I have had a bite of food. The first two times was during the summer. It was hot out, and I just put it down to over exertion and coming in from super hot to very cool. I did have to spend a bit of time in the restroom, but I thought it basically just a coincidence. When we left I felt just fine.
Today was different. As we started to eat I started feeling really unwell. I had to keep visiting the restroom. I was getting violently ill. I could feel the color draining from my face and was feeling cold and hot practically at the same time. It felt like Norovirus. I told my husband I was ill and had to return to the restroom. he settled the check, got our food boxed, and met me and we went outside. The whole time I'm feeling so bad I'm wondering how I'm going to get home without being sick. However, once I stepped out the door I started feeling immediately better. It was like some kind of weight had been lifted from me. By the time we made it to the car I didn't have even a trace of nausea and there was no issue getting home.
I would like to know if anyone has had the same experience in Ligonier. I feel like there is something wrong, maybe something evil where we were. I don't have the right words but something was not right.
