Gallery X is extremely grateful that a 'CPA FUNDS AT WORK' sign will again be posted in front of our historic home in the former First Universalist Church (1855). In the coming weeks a crew from Harborside Roofing will be hard at work stripping and replacing our roof. Once completed Gallery X will have new flashing, underlayment, and roof shingles meaning no need to worry about leaks! And while the CPA grant funds will be used solely for the roof, this project opens up many new opportunities for projects both inside and out for the further care and preservation of our building, including all new insulation...

Join Gallery X this Saturday, May 23 from 5-8pm as we present the artwork of Q***R FUTURES, a Pride Month exhibition. The exhibition features 27 local and regional artists working in a plethora of media and styles exploring our community’s dreams for the future.

The opening reception is free, and open to the public and will feature the music of SOUL CLAP: Sounds of the African Diaspora by Wamptronica from 5:30-7:30.

Qu**rs Futures and Gallery X Unplugged are supported in part by grants from the New Bedford Local Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.

Q***r Futures will be on view through June 20.
