Hey everyone! so there is a bit of confusion and sort of deceitful rumors going around town that we are turning the Historical Society Into a business... FALSE!

In order to do a paranormal investigation at the Museum there is a Donation fee depending on how many people and what night you would like to investigate. Haunted New Egypt makes $0 off of these investigations. ALL PROCEEDS GO DIRECTLY TO THE MUSEUM!

Another rumor is that Haunted New Egypt is ran by Sector 12 Paranormal. Wrong again. While Sector 12 did help run these investigations in the past, they are no longer associated with Haunted New Egypt or the museum in any way.

And finally, The New Egypt Historical Society has a new FB Page. THIS IS 100% TRUE! The old page is currently operating independently of the museum and against its wishes. Why it's posting like it's still the museums page is beyond me and a little concerning. The old page was initiated by an ex trustee/(lifetime)member who resigned and will not return it to the museum leadership. 🤷
