It was wonderful having Brian out to the shop. What a great guy to talk with. We are all HUGE fans of his work.

I recently had a wonderful visit to New Glarus, Wisconsin. I also had the privilege & honor to be given a VIP tour of Albion Swords. I was able to see first hand the company I have been working with for the past 17 years. I visited each department, observed the process, and had many questions answered.

Most importantly, I met each and every employee. I shook hands, talked, and learned. I watched the process, and discovered more than just a company. I discovered a family within. An incredible group of individuals meticulously crafting in a way only skilled artisans can. A small tight-knit group working for a company in a niche market, creating the finest swords in the world.

I left proudly knowing I am associated with such a fine company, but also outstanding individuals that love what they do and excel at it. Whenever I am asked where the finest swords in the world are made, I have always and for the foreseeable future, proudly say Albion Swords does.

By cutting our costs whenever and wherever possible, and maintaining the best efficiency in our production, Albion always does its very best to keep our swords at a the lowest price possible for our beloved customers. After several years of no price increase, we are afraid that the time has finally come. With an increase in cost of everything that goes into our swords, and into running our business, we are begrudgingly forced to do a price increase on all of our swords as of November 1st, 2023. Orders placed and confirmed before that date will be locked in at the current pricing.

Check out Peter's sword ended up at the MET!!!

I am happy and proud to be able to share this bit of news: Athena from the "Reflections" project has found a new and permanent home.
How this came to be is a story that takes some time to tell. In a short post it must be enough to thank Donald LaRocca who had the vision to see that Athena could have a place in the Metropolitan collection, to Jon Byck who is the engaged curator who welcomed her and to the generosity of Landon Morris that made it a possibility.
