New Haven is the ultimate American city and of course in our museum we have a great exhibit about the best Ah-Beetz in the country!

Welcome to winter in New England!
Lost in New Haven will be closed on Monday because of the extreme winter weather conditions. If you purchased any tickets online for entrance to our museum on Monday then we will refund all purchase fees and will hope to have you visit on any of the next days open to the public. Please stay safe!
This original photo of Chapel St from State St facing West is from the Blizzard of 1888 that buried the city of New Haven in many feet of snow. It still remains the most destructive snow storm in the city's recorded history.

An article about the Columbus statue now exhibited at Lost in New Haven.

Monday is the first Columbus Day the controversial Christopher Columbus statue will spend in its new home at the Lost in New Haven Museum.

The old statue was moved in 2020 from its place in Wooster Square Park after vandalism and protests there saying Columbus was a symbol of mistreatment of Indigenous people.
