As You Like It Gallery & Frame Studio loves our PHILLIES! We believe that they are going to win today, as they did yesterday. In honor of their winning streak, we wanted to share a piece that we framed years ago. It is a ‘Fighting’ Phils towel with the tickets and a special photo of a father/son moment from the game. We hope this is a prediction of future games to come. We know that this family loved this because, “WE FRAME EMOTIONS!”.

As You Like It Gallery & Frame Studio’s customer, Natalie travels all over the world. She brings us wonderful pieces of art that remind her of her adventures. We love working with her because she lets us think outside the box. These little beauties are from Venice. We used a thin pale blue frame inside, a heavier rustic frame on the outside, UV Protective glass (of course), spacers to keep the art off the glass, and museum board on the back to protect the artwork. As You Like It Gallery & Frame Studio was honored to be given this Zardozi (17th-century method of using gold & silver metallic threads for embroidery) to be framed by Minita & Ken. This is an emotionally important piece for Minita, as it had a connection with her wedding dress and it came from her homeland, India. We stretched it on stretcher bars so you can see the incredible workmanship on the back and used a simple frame that enhanced the embroidery. As You Like It Gallery & Frame Studio’s customer, Rodger, lives in a home that was one of the places that George Washington stayed before the crossing of the Delaware. He brought us 3 important etchings to frame and preserve so he could display them. We designed these to look like everything aged together. The matching ornate frame and fillet (small piece of wood closest to the artwork) respect the black lines in the artwork, while the wide cream linen liner keeps the frame from crowding the image. And of course, we use Museum glazing and materials inside. The look on his face says all! "WE FRAME EMOTIONS!".

As You Like It Gallery & Frame Studio has several “revolving door” customers like Erin. She is an art collector and has a wonderfully eclectic mix of art. This latest piece is by New York City graffiti subculture artist, Keith Haring. Erin was open to keeping the funk in the framing of this piece and we think we accomplished it. The frame looks like a black meat tenderizer mallet. We kept it simple with a museum-quality, white mat with an added pop of orange. And of course, we used UV protective glass. He gave us creative freedom. We thought to put them together this way to show the chronological progression of the race. And the frame looks kind of like a tire! The unique design was a hit!
