The New Milford Historical Society & Museum, at 6 Aspetuck Avenue, collects, preserves and interprets objects and information of historical merit pertaining to the backgrounds of individuals and their way of life and customs in the greater New Milford area. It serves the residents and visitors to New Milford as a source of reliable information and seeks to stimulate interest in the culture and his

tory of New Milford. It promotes educational, cultural and civic activities of groups, organizations and Town sponsored programs; this participation to be related to the material holdings of the Society.

This exhibit has a short run . Last days this Friday 8 th and Saturday 9 th . We have extended our hours and will be open Friday 11 until 4 and Sat 11 until 3 in conjunction with the Quilt Show. Thank you Karen Henkel for loaning your sewing machine that made costumes for some of these shows . Her parents were musicians in New Milford and arranged these shows . Note sone of the very famous people.
