‘Let It All Hang Out’

I was thinking about the blues when I painted this — not just sadness, but release. That feeling of letting it all hang out. Opening your chest, telling the truth, and letting the sound carry what words can’t.
This little stitched soul feels like he’s been through something, but the trumpet gives it somewhere to go.
