High Art

High Art High Art is a grassroots arts and community development project started in New Orleans, LA.

High Art seeks to combine classic arts and street art initiatives with youth leadership and community empowerment programs. High Art is non-political, independent, and inclusive of all ethnicities, religions and social backgrounds. High Art aims to always be an innovative social project with value.

• We work with community members of all ages, believing that youth cannot be empowered in the absen

ce of a strong community.
• Our initial projects are aiming at the Gentilly, Lower 9th Ward, and Central City neighborhoods.
• Our parks redevelop vacant land to create usable park spaces for the surrounding neighborhood.
• Our goal is to create a blueprint that can be used throughout the city to promote the revitalization and healing for our city.
