Dana Saulnier’s lush oil paintings evoke the figure in landscape. Embodied forms, weighty and carnal, enact fundamental tensions that are always with us; now further pressurized and near collapse in this anxious era. ‘A Slow Burn’ by Dana Saulnier will be on view at First Street Gallery April 29 – May 23, 2026, with a closing reception on Thursday, May 21, from 6 to 8pm.

FIRST STREET GALLERY is pleased to present American Archive 2026, a multidisciplinary exhibition of Jessica McGarry Bartlet’s paintings and drawings, documenting the artist’s lived experience in a time of profound social tension.

McGarry Bartlet constructs a visual record of observation shaped by the question of how individuals persevere within conditions they did not author and over which they have little control.

The exhibition is on view April 1-25, 2026. Join us on Thursday, April 23, from 6-8PM for the closing reception, and meet the artist. ✨
