Nakano’s art conveys a profound message about our interconnectedness with nature, and his artist talk brought the audience closer to his vision.

A dream realized at sparks another as we celebrate art's beauty. The outcome exceeded our expectations, making the impossible happen at the fair. Thank you to the visionary artists and Ippodo's team for empowering us. We're thankful for the inspiring encounters. My deepest gratitudes for every single moment we experienced in Maastricht.

Happy New Year 2026!

While the reality of our busy lives often leaves little room to reflect on the past year or ponder resolutions for the next, the refreshing purity of the New Year remains a truly special moment.

The year 2025 was a milestone for us as we relocated our gallery to Tribeca in NY. Amidst non-stop schedule of programs, exhibitions, and art fairs—and through the turbulent waters of a shifting society and art market—our small boat has continued to steer a resilient course.

None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support and work of the artists, our friends, patrons, the Team Ippodo Gallery - I offer you my deepest gratitude. Thank you so much.

Visiting the marble quarries in Carrara in Tuscany, Italy, last summer remains a vivid and precious memory that continues to inspire me.

Seeing humanity confront nature through immeasurable labor, and witnessing the moment when these two forces—human and nature—reach their ultimate crystallization: that is when truly soul-stirring art is born.

It was a profound reminder of why I find my work as a gallerist so meaningful.

A toast šŸ„‚ to humanity! Let us believe in the infinite possibilities of art.

Compared to a single soul standing before a giant stone, there is nothing we cannot achieve.

We can handle anything New York throws at us! ( I could not be here without the support of my husband, comrade Richard).

We're delighted to return to , where the sun is shining bright ā˜€ļø and we're reconnecting with friends and supporters.

We're also forming new connections that are truly special.

Thank you for pushing the limits and for his steadfast passion for art, craft, and design.

A heartfelt thank you to our artists for collaborating with us and helping us fulfill our mission from hands to heart.

Immersed in Carrara and Pietrasanta, the cradle of marble history, where the likes of Michelangelo once roamed, I'm struck by the profound process of sculpting and the rich history of this pure material. This place has long been a haven for artists, including Henry Moore, Isamu Noguchi, Joan Miro, and Arp. Kan Yasuda is a rare breed of artist who continues to work with this material with genuine passion and dedication.

Last summer, we had the privilege of witnessing the installation of Kan’s Oltre La Forma sculpture exhibition in Pietrasanta, Italy. As Kan and master stonemason Giorgio Angeli carefully placed each massive stone sculpture in a quaint medieval Piazza, the deep blue Tuscan sky above seemed to come alive. It was a poignant reminder that art is not just something to be admired, but also deeply felt and connected to our everyday lives.

Kan Yasuda's Isamu Noguchi Award acceptance speech* on November 17, 2025, touched me deeply and left a lasting impression on me.

*As Isamu Noguchi sensei said, "When someone works alone and lives alone, and comes home to a dark room, the moment they switch on a light, the soft, warm glow (Akari) can gently warm their heart. Isn't that what art is —— something that warms the human heart?" I couldn't agree more. Art, at its core, is about revealing the truth.

As Kan Yasuda so eloquently put it, "Art is the act of touching truth."

Thank you, Kan Yasuda, for creating art that speaks to the heart and allows us to connect with the truth—Life is sad and beautiful. Loving it makes it so.

Congratulazioni e grazie, maestro d’artr e uomo!
