Me performing Sofia Run songs from my band on my birthday at the museum speakeasy. Then me before an interview at childhood home. Then the museum apt where you see a cypher attache cell, my bday dinosaur and a homing pigeon award. A cat helping me edit 16mm film. We got a 70s love tester meter at the apt and tested everyone. Then a library hired me to do the Waves / radio presentation. Lastly on valentines I brought an exhibit for the Love Show and yes I brought the love tester! Enjoy!!

At the Museum apt presentation humans enjoyed the Disney magic lantern set, a homing pigeon diploma, the moviola sign the George Clooney ppl made for me. Then at the film speakeasy the theme was ridiculous records! So check some out. Back at the Museum apt girls posed with a women medieval torture card, organ grinder monkey, ancient eye exam device, 100 year old hearing aid I may need someday, and lastly a cat on a hot tin Kodak projector! lol

Come join the Museum of Interesting Things for the Washington Square Park Prohibition Jazz 16mm Film Festival

Sat Oct 3rd 8pm - 10pm

Garibaldi Plaza east side of the park center

- Short Films and Music/Film Technology Exhibition/Festival

See vintage 16mm short films of such greats as Billie Holiday, Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Cab Calloway, Bessie Smith and so many more. Films from the early 1900’s when they were young and sweet! Between short films we will demonstrate & describe the history of music, film and photography historic items from The Museum of Interesting Things vast collection as well as items from our history of music players exhibition like the Thomas Edison wax cylinder player. So the audience gets to witness and experience artists that changed the world and the technology that facilitated that revolution of jazz, vaudeville, blues and more which later influenced Rock and Roll.
Audience members experience interactive demonstrations and the history of each item in between films.

The Museum apt presentation get many humans playing with many interesting things! Like 3d stereoscopes, Edison wax records and Camera Obscuras and even a barrel organ. Some people celebrate their birthday there and I play a birthday record on a fisher price player. At the film speakeasy I brought view masters and good buddies like Ira visit. At senior centers sweet smart people touch and learn interesting things. Lastly I enjoyed New Year’s Eve last year with museum shows and adventures!

Museum fun at the apt then some really good times at Kids Comic Con last year. So many dear friends and interesting humans!! Lastly back at the museum apt people get to touch everything I talk about and teach them. So many cool sweet people! 🙂🍪

The Museum travels anywhere but PA at Fort Mifflin one of the oldest forts around Christmas was super fun! Then back at the Museum apt we have a few full crowds and got interviewed for a cool documentary. Lastly check out the massive matching fur coats a visitor and I had! Who knew heehee. Enjoy!!

The Museum with its windup circus exhibit was at Big Apple Comic Con last year and see us in Nov again! Like my Cookie Monster calculator? Sooo Dear friends visited that day and helped!! Thanks!! At the Museum apt people handled the Edison record player and Camera Obscuras and more. Then of course the Museum lectures at schools and the students handle interesting things! The glass that girl is wearing at the apt are 100 year old 3d Ziegfeld Follies! Lastly Bec learned 16mm film projectors at the museum speakeasy. Next secret speakeasy is schoolhouse rock.

The Sound Wagon is a VW bus toy that’s actually a record player! It drives around your record and plays it! Part of the Museum history of music show. Then a senior using the museum baby car seat that protected nobody! Then the seniors tried the museum 1962 solar space phone! Then lots of school presentations with Edison wax cylinders and camera Obscuras and wood telephones. And some people visiting the Museum apt. Lastly the windup circus toys exhibition at the great Big Apple Comicon. Enjoy!
