Martha Henry Fine Art Martha Henry Fine Art is a professional arts and education company providing sales, consultations, Imagination; The Roots of the Spirit: Lonnie Holley, Mr. Ms.

She is committed to nurturing American visual arts through advising and developing institutional and private collections, as well as educating the public through curated exhibitions in galleries, universities, museums, corporations and public parks nationwide. She serves on state and local art panels and juries and has been a guest lecturer at art fairs, universities and museums. These activities

serve the audience who discover new and exciting things about themselves, their communities and the society in which they live through experiencing visual art. She is the author of numerous catalog essays includingL: Welcome to the World of Mr. Imagination, Charlie Lucas, Kevin Sampson; Art from the Inside: Paño Drawings by Chicano Prisoners; Jay Milder: Adam and Eve on the IRT and Other Biblical Tales; Jay Milder: Urban Visionary, Retrospective; and Robert Murray, Recent Works. She has appraised the collections of many private collectors, companies and institutions. In addition, Martha Henry and Martha Henry, Inc. Fine Art have rendered professional curatorial and art advisory services for institutions including: Schick Art Gallery, Skidmore College, Saratoga Springs, NY; Virginia Beach Center for the Arts, Virginia Beach, VA; Delaware Art Museum, Wilmington, DE; Fullerton Art Museum, Fullerton, CA; Snite Museum, Notre Dame University, South Bend, IN; INTUIT: The Center for Intuitive and Outsider Art., Chicago, IL; New England Center for Contemporary Art, Brooklyn, CT; Wiegand Art Gallery, Notre Dame de Namur University, Bellmore, CA; The 54th and the 55th Venice Biennales, Venice, Italy; The American Folk Art Museum, New York, NY; University of Louisville, Louisvsille, KY; and East River State Park, Brooklyn, NY among others. Henry earned an art history degree from Columbia University. She successfully completed a 15 hour course and examination on the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), the Congressionally-recognized set of appraisal standards promulgated by The Appraisal Foundation: completed in July 2014, effective through June 2016. She is a founding director of Urban Art Projects, Inc., Brooklyn, NY. She is a member of the American Association of Museums and a candidate for membership in the Appraisers Association of America.
