CAP (Community Art Project):

Yegam Art Space is presenting Community Art Project from September 5th to September 29th. Since its establishment in 2009, Yegam Art Space played a pivotal role of art and culture in Queens.
Yegam Art Space continually held art market for the last two years. Especially in the second half of the last two years, the art market received a lot of positive responses due to a large number of artists who participated in the art market and their artworks were sold at affordable prices.

When Fall 2013 begins in September, C.A.P. Art Market exhibition was planned to contribute to the cultural revival of art in Queens’s community and for the arts to get closer to the general public. The art works by 48 artists were chosen, including those of Korean and foreign artist who are active in New York.

In this event, distinctive art works were installed in one space, consisting of 130 pieces of artwork in various size and genres includes painting, sculpture, printmaking, ceramics, jewelry, and photographs. By experiencing a wide variety of contemporary modern art in one place and by purchasing unique artworks, it will attract fresh artistic energy to each household.

Unique ideas and emotional compelling works of emerging artists will bring the audience curiosity and a pleasant surprise. In the work of professional artists, you will see and feel high-level of artistic spirit.
