Macarena Rojas Osterling, Praxis artist, featured in ALL ARTS in the article “How Art Changed Artist Macarena Rojas Osterling.”

“Art created a space where emotions, experiences and perspectives could exist without needing immediate conclusions or fixed positions.”

Thank you, Britt Stigler, for this beautiful feature on Macarena’s practice and current exhibition, In the Whitewater.

Celebrating the opening of the new David Geffen Galleries at

We are proud to congratulate Scherezade García, whose work is featured in the collection of the LACMA and highlighted in a recent ARTnews review of the new spaces. In the lead-up to the opening, Harvest of the Sea (2023) was selected by LACMA as one of 50 key works presented for the new David Geffen Galleries.

García’s practice—exploring migration, memory, and the poetics of the “liquid highway”—continues to resonate across institutions and audiences. We are especially proud to have presented her 2023 solo exhibition Under the Lace: Stories of Floating Cathedrals, Resilience and Encounters at Praxis, during which LACMA acquired Harvest of the Sea (2023), now part of its permanent collection.

Congratulations to Scherezade García and to LACMA on this new chapter.

“Winter Solstice: Seeds of Nothingness takes place in a moment of suspension. The exhibition draws from Edo Costantini’s ongoing practice in photography, film, and sound, and includes a series of bronze sculptures created in collaboration with artist Delfina Braun and architect Delfina Muniz Barreto. Across these works, the project attends to what persists beneath visibility, slow transformations, latent states, and forms of life that remain active while appearing still.”

Praxis presents works by Josefina Co**ha E., Diego Miccige, Elisa Lutteral, and Candelaria Fernández Coya at CAN Madrid.

From textiles and paper to drawing, their practices transform material into living fields—woven from memory, ancestry, gesture, and touch. Images emerge as unstable organisms: accumulating, repeating, and unfolding beyond fixed narratives and linear time. Each work invites the viewer to slow down, engage with presence, and discover layered connections between body, material, and the world.

Praxis would like to congratulate artist Misla .art for being included in Buffalo AKG Art Museum’s upcoming exhibition ‘Let us Gather in a Flourishing Way’
BUFFALO AKG ANNOUNCES LET US GATHER
IN A FLOURISHING WAY, A NEW EXHIBITION OF
CONTEMPORARY LATINX PAINTING
The exhibition explores contemporary Latinx artists’ innovations and interventions within established traditions of painting. The project celebrates painting from the Latin American and Caribbean diaspora,
inviting discussion on a variety of themes and revealing the diversity and expansiveness present within the field today. The fifty-eight artists in the exhibition—and those in the Latinx field more broadly— encourage us to interrogate the continued relevance of boundaries, from political borders to disciplinary confines. The exhibition is organized by the Buffalo AKG Art Museum and curated by Curator
Andrea Alvarez. It will be on view at the AKG from March 6 to September 6, 2026, and will be followed by a national tour including presentations at the Des Moines Art Center, the Phoenix Art Museum, and the Frye Art Museum, Seattle.
