Put together yummy treats together with Perfect Pairs Cooking with atelier vivi Saturday morning, and Boo! It's Boba with Ye Ye in the afternoons on both Saturday and Sunday. About last night... CMOM was recognized by the New York City Council at the Celebration of Arts & Culture at City Hall on Tuesday, October 20! CMOM received a proclamation recognizing the Museum's Community Impact for "bringing arts and educational experiences to families across NYC, including its Family Connections program supporting relationships between incarcerated parents and their children.”

Many thanks to New York City Council leadership and all those involved in this event, with deep appreciation for Deputy Speaker Dr. Nantasha Williams, the Chair of the New York City Council's Committee on Cultural Affairs, Libraries and International Relations, who hosted and led this Celebration.

From our Museum to community spaces and shelters across the city, we believe every family deserves opportunities to connect, create, and thrive.

Thrilled to welcome Laurie Tisch and The New York Times to the future home of the Children’s Museum of Manhattan!

The Times spent a day with Laurie for its Routine column, including a hard-hat tour of our new site on the Upper West Side. Joined by CMOM Trustee Maddy Moelis and CMOM CEO Dava Schub, Laurie visited to view updates on the project. Together, the Board and CMOM team are bringing this museum to life for all of New York City’s children.

For more than 50 years, CMOM has given the city’s youngest learners a place to play, explore, and grow. Our new home will expand that work for generations to come. Read the full feature via the link in our bio.

Every child deserves exciting books to read and stories to discover
We were proud to send our Museum Educators to the PATH Family Intake Center for the NYC Department of Homeless Services’ annual Read-a-thon, celebrating the joy of reading and the importance of early literacy.
We’re grateful for our ongoing partnership with the Department of Homeless Services and the opportunity to bring learning, play, and connection to NYC families.

Snow kidding—the 2027 Sunday Funday is going to be a Winter Wonderland that you won't want to miss! ❄️ ⛄

Sunday Funday is our biggest family event of the year featuring activities, indoor sports, games, and much more wintery fun. Funds raised from this event support CMOM’s work at the Museum and in the community, including our research-backed exhibits, interactive programs, and outreach partnerships.
