“Agnes Denes: Another Confrontation” presented by CIRCA on electronic billboards throughout the world every night at 8:22 pm during the month of May! It is on view here in NYC at 1540 Broadway near Times Square. In words and images Denes tells the story of her iconic Land art piece “Wheatfield: A Confrontation” (through May 10), and “Tree Mountain: A Living Time Capsule,” (through May 20). A questionnaire about the future of humanity will be on view through May 31. The answers will be buried in a time capsule to be opened in 1,000 years. CIRCA is a London-based digital art and culture platform.

For more information about locations, how to answer the questionnaire, and growing your own AR wheat field visit circa.art. Image: “Agnes Denes: A Confrontation” at Picadilly Lights, Picadilly Circus, London

"Floating World of the Cloud Quilt" is currently on view through June 11, and is open Wednesday through Saturday, 1–6 PM.

This immersive, analog-digital projection installation quilts together the real and imagined.

Now that Betsy Kaufman's current exhibition has been extended through April 15th, it is a perfect time to read Ela Bittencourt's very thoughful review via Hyperallergic on "Betsy Kaufman: 14 Sculptures, 1 Painting," now on view in our space at 401 Broadway, Suite 411, this Thursday - Saturday, and next Thursday - Friday (11AM–6PM).

Kaufman's sculptures can go from orderly to helter-skelter, making them seem like willful renegades from an industrial assembly line.
