…and then there were the people.

If Lyle had a yearbook page, this would be it. So many of the faces here are people I met JUST THIS YEAR, which feels actually unbelievable, and so many more not even pictured. Kind, smart, funny, generous humans who make me feel so grateful to do what I do.

Thank you for making Lyle what it is and what it’s becoming. See you on the flip side 🫶

(I guess 20 is the max tags on one post so I’m sorry that I couldn’t tag everyone 😭😭😭. Please fix this )

I’m not even sure where to begin with a 2025 recap. This was, without question, the most rewarding year in Lyle’s history and in my professional life.

We had the absolute privilege of presenting a powerful body of work by . We collaborated with incredible women like .gerasimoff of , of .us, and .gallery.nyc of .gallery.nyc. We returned for our second year at . Little art school Lin literally could never have imagined a year like this.

Color drenched in pistachio and intentionally dimmed, the back room at .gallery.nyc was imagined as its own little world within ONNI. Light works by , .world , , , and fill the space with a soft glow, making it quiet, immersive, and somewhere you want to linger a little longer. A small escape from the cold, busy streets of Manhattan.

ONNI, Lyle Gallery’s first exhibition as a nomadic gallery. It has been such an honor to work on this project and to collaborate with so many incredible artists and designers to create a gallery-level holiday market.

When .sullivan.nyc invited me into this ambitious idea, it arrived at the exact moment I was reimagining what Lyle could be without a permanent space. This project became the perfect beginning, a collaboration with smart, talented women who each brought their own point of view to something that came together fast and beautifully.

I hope you visit. The work is special and full of heart, with pieces that feel precious, playful, and thoughtful. ONNI is open at Isabel Sullivan Gallery through December 30, every day except Christmas Eve and Christmas.

Thank you to all the artists, designers, and collaborators who made this possible. Let’s gift art this year. 😏

OPEN CALL ANNOUNCEMENT! Lyle Gallery is looking for WLW designers, artists, and makers for ongoing curatorial projects for 2025/2026.

We’re seeking le***an, bi, and femme aligned nonbinary and trans artists and designers who move through the world in some version of a women loving women identity, working in collectible design, sculpture, or functional objects.

We’re especially interested in narrative rich, materially driven work that lives between art and design.

This is part of Lyle Gallery’s broader mission to spotlight LGBTQ+ creatives shaping creative culture today.

We’re building a roster for upcoming exhibitions, pop ups, editorial features, and collaborations through 2025 and beyond. This is not tied to one show, and future opportunities may include other creative disciplines.

🗓️ Submission Deadline: October 1, 2025
🌍 Open globally
