www.curtissjacobsgallery.com The gallery was founded as Renaissance Fine Art (RFA) in October of 2009 by owner Curtiss Jacobs, as a tribute to his since departed father, painter Joseph David Jacobs. Paula Coleman played an instrumental role providing strategic guidance as the founding director. RFA served as a creative hub and featured group and solo exhibitions by the Jack White, Diane

Smith, Jordan Baker Caldwell, Delphine Diallo, Tony Peralta, Ousmane Guye etc. as well as guest curator Deb Willis

In 2016 RFA was rebranded Curtiss Jacobs Gallery and features 20th and 21st century work from emerging, mid-career and established artist who produce sculptures, paintings, drawings, multimedia and photography influenced by the African Diaspora and selected works presenting a compelling world view. The gallery presents approximately eight exhibitions a year, as well as participating in major art fairs. We also look to leverage strategic alliances with artists, organizations and art enthusiasts to advocate, promote and provide opportunities that enrich the Harlem community and the visual arts community at large.
